Women's Cancer Care of Seattle is equipped with a state of the art chemotherapy infusion suite where a skilled team offers the latest in cutting edge treatments for gynecologic malignancies. The suite, which boasts large picture windows that look out onto Northwest Hospital's serene wooded campus, was designed to offer our patients a comforting and calm environment.
Treatments include intravenous and intraperitoneal chemotherapy, novel biologic agents including angiogenesis inhibitors, growth factors and other supportive measures, and new agents currently available only through clinical trials.
Our team of experienced chemotherapy nurses works closely with physicians and other care providers to ensure the proper implementation of each patient's treatment plan. Prior to starting treatment, each patient meets with one of our chemotherapy nurses to review her personalized infusion schedule. At this appointment, and in any visit to our office, we encourage our patients to remain involved in the process and address any questions or concerns she may have. In addition, a physician is always present in the clinic during chemotherapy infusions.
